Job Purpose
The Application Engineer is the ‘technical champion’ for internal and external customers. This position works closely with the Sales teams to support customers with their sanitary pumping needs and resolve technical issues. The Application Engineer is responsible for selecting, quoting, troubleshooting, and promoting the organization’s sanitary pumps and fluid management products to both domestic and international sales channels. The primary responsibilities of this position are to support the internal and external Sales team with customer interfacing.
Duties and Responsibilities
Supports Customers’ Techinical and Product Needs
- Resolves customers’ technical issues
- Assists customers with their technical pump needs
- Prepares product quotes to assist OEMs, end users and/or distributors
- Provides technical equipment proposals and quotes for projects and customer inquiries
- Participates in companywide continuous improvement and similar quality efforts to support the growth of the organization and to meet the needs of customers
- Provide technical support to customers related to pumps and accessories
Identifies Appropriate Products and Criteria
- Size and selects the appropriate application products from the product line, including pumps, pump accessories, valves, strainers, sight glasses, bubble traps, oil coolers, pump replacement and spare parts.
- Interacts with the original equipment manufacturer (OEM), distributor and/or end user to identify key pump selection criteria.
- Identifies key product applications, product features and new potential applications.
- Determines major market area of end user or the distributor pump application.
- Identifies major competitors’ products and their Unibloc equivalents.
- Performs design selections for various applications and specifications.
Collaborates with the Internal and External Sales Team
- Provides technical support for the Sales team.
- Partners with the Sales team to meet customers’ needs.
- Troubleshoots challenging operational technical and product issues.
- Assists Sales, Marketing and Engineering to develop and conduct product training programs.
- Responds to technical and product questions from the Sales team and customers.

Preferred Qualifications
Experience, Education, and Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering
- Mechanical engineering experience and/or degree
- 2 years of relevant experience, preferably in Application Engineering
- Experience in manufacturing and/or equipment industry
- Experience in solving customer issues by providing appropriate technical and product recommendations
- Mechanical and electrical aptitude or training
- Experience in ERP
Knowledge and Skills:
- Strong customer service skills with courteous, clear, thorough and accurate communication
- Strong technical and non-technical communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong time management skills
- Knowledge of pump construction and materials selection

Job purpose
Develop and execute effective channel strategies to cultivate growth for Unibloc Hygienic Technologies (UHT) sales and market share in assigned region or geography. Responsible for managing existing channel partners, establishing long-lasting relationships to maintain consistent revenue. Identify and engage potential channel partners, leveraging market and competitor data to attract.
Duties and responsibilities
- Responsible for achieving or exceeding annual sales and orders growth for the region in line with business revenue growth objectives.
- Develop channel sales strategies, key account plans, and relationships to deliver on assigned growth tactics for the region.
- Establish and adhere to an annual growth plan aligned with business growth strategies.
- Engage existing channel partners, providing applications knowledge, pricing, and support to execute orders; support channel partners in developing and delivering technical and commercial quotations for their end markets.
- Develop account plans for each channel partner with annual goals, objectives, and quotas to support the fulfillment of UHT’s growth strategies.
- Identify gaps in regional coverage and prioritize and engage new channel partners to fill gaps.
- Lead the onboarding of new channel partners, ensuring a smooth and immediate transition to UBP product platforms and continuously building effective relationships.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree.
- A minimum of 7+ years of outside sales experience or distributor management.
- Demonstrated knowledge of electrical submersible pumps and electrical control panels.
- Experience in a mechanical/electrical manufacturing environment.
- Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation, persuasion, relationship management, and negotiating skills.
- Can be productive with minimal supervision – self-starter.
- Has the ability to learn quickly and advance upon what has been learned.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to use computers and software programs, including MS Office Suite.
- Experience with Dynamics 365 Business Central and ERP software.
- Travel is required.

JOB PURPOSE
A successful Product Manager is a domain expert who is customer focused, action oriented, has strong organizational agility and leads by influence to identify, develop, and implement product growth initiatives, including new products and solutions. The Product Manager is a key strategic position within the Sales & Marketing team to deliver product innovation, develop and implement effective portfolio strategies, and position our products for leadership in their end markets. The Product Manager creates and drives product line growth, supporting new product development as a product owner and commercializing new products and solutions. This role requires developing and maintaining a deep understanding of customer problems, market dynamics, and competitive products. Additionally, this role will ensure alignment with the rest of the Unibloc Hygienic Technologies team including Sales, Engineering, Operations, and Finance teams.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Analyze customer research, current market conditions and competitor information to develop competitive positioning and go to market strategies for product offerings.
- Drive innovative business opportunities with a customer focused mindset from product ideation through to customer sales
- Responsible for developing sound business cases integrating market and competitive intelligence, collecting and analyzing customer input (VoC), and scoping product requirements to achieve optimal outcomes for our customers and for UHT
- Serve as the business lead on innovation projects to generate maximum return on investment considering relevant risks and opportunities

Position Controller

Job Purpose
The Quality Manager is responsible for managing, developing, and driving quality and safety objectives and methodologies revolving around ownership of product family quality and company-wide processes. This role will develop key performance indicators to support company-wide strategic initiatives and goals. Utilize metrics to determine what actions are required and then lead quality improvements. Manage all quality employees. Facilitate process improvements and assist product teams in successfully translating customers’ critical to-quality (CTQ) items into high-quality products that can be robustly manufactured. Oversee Quality Assurance improvement projects that can include the implementation of new engineering and process techniques and methods. Stay up to date on OSHA compliance and enforce safety rules and procedures.
Duties and Responsibilities
Quality
- Own RMA process, ensuring high communication to internal and external customers
- Oversee Warranty and Goodwill issues, using data to look for any trends in the data to improve the customer experience
- Oversee the evaluation of process procedures for the assembly of pumps and pump products made for or at Unibloc Hygienic Technologies (UHT) and put forward recommendations for improvement
- Lead and perform quality audits of products being received to evaluate the performance of the products to the defined specifications. This can include component inspections to print specifications and product testing
- Develop resolutions for problems with pumps and pump products and engage with customers and collaborate with UHT team members in determining the best solution. Perform root-cause analysis of product issues in order to isolate issues and develop solutions that prevent a recurrence
- Partner with Supply Chain to work with suppliers in the development of new product specifications and to solve problems with an existing product
- Oversee and own the Supplier Corrective Action Request and Reporting process.
- Work with procurement to develop supplier scorecards
- Perform advanced quality engineering support functions, leveraging and initiating lean quality techniques to drive business growth
- Responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining a UHT quality manual, leading the publication of quality processes and procedures
- Manage the evaluation process of product manuals to ensure that they meet customer needs and expectations
- Publish reports associated with evaluating products and components and present findings to leaders and teams across functions. This can include new products and components as well as products returned from the field
- Perform mechanical inspection utilizing precision instrumentation, including micrometers, depth gauges, bore gauges, balancers, and similar instrumentation
- Develop and maintain a companywide gage calibration database
- Collaborate with all functional disciplines in the organization to facilitate meeting production requirements adhering to quality standards
- Utilize the ERP tool to investigate customer information, order details, BOM’s, inventory locations, costs, etc.
- Utilize assembly tools such as torque wrenches, air tools, electric drills, wrenches, screwdrivers, and similar tools when working with the evaluation of a product or component
- Participate in companywide continuous improvement and similar quality efforts to help grow the operation
- Able to perform daily work safely with full consideration for fellow employees and in full compliance with OSHA safety standards

Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science degree in a mechanical, electrical, or similar engineering discipline.
- 10 to 15 years of quality experience in a manufacturing or similar environment. Previous knowledge of positive displacement pumps is a plus.
- Proficient in all quality and quality systems aspects, including ISO 9001:2015 and similar benchmarks.
