Job purpose

Develop and execute effective channel strategies to cultivate growth for UBP sales and market share, in assigned region or geography. Responsible for managing existing channel partners, establishing long lasting relationships to maintain consistent revenue. Identify and engage potential channel partners, leveraging market and competitor data to attract.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Responsible for achieving or exceeding annual sales and orders growth for region, in line with business revenue growth objectives.
  • Develop channel sales strategies, key account plans and relationships to deliver on assigned growth tactics for region.
  • Establish and adhere to annual growth plan, aligned with business growth strategies.
  • Engage existing channel partners, providing applications knowledge, pricing, and support to execute orders; support channel partners in developing and delivering technical and commercial quotations for their end markets.
  • Develop account plans for each channel partner with annual goals, objectives and quotas to support fulfillment of UBP’ growth strategies.
  • Identify gaps in regional coverage, prioritize and engage new channel partners to fill gaps.
  • Lead the on-boarding of new channel partners, ensuring smooth and immediate transition to UBP product platforms, continuously building effective relationship.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • A minimum of 7+ years of outside sales experience or distributor management.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of electrical submersible pumps and electrical control panels.
  • Experience in a mechanical/electrical manufacturing environment.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation, persuasion, relationship management and negotiating skills.
  • Can be productive with minimal supervision – self-starter.
  • Has the ability to learn quickly and advance upon what has been learned.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to use computers and software programs including, MS Office Suite.
  • Experience with Salesforce and ERP software.
  • Travel is required.

Job Summary

The Warehouse Associate receives and inspects inbound freight. This position monitors, picks and moves inventory, utilizing various equipment. The Warehouse Associate assists with outbound shipments of materials, parts and equipment. This position monitors the inventory to ensure the necessary parts are in stock for building pumps according to the Work Orders. The primary responsibilities of this position are to receive and ship equipment, parts and materials to/from customers and vendors and to maintain a safe working environment.

Job Duties

Receives and Stocks Inbound Freight

  • Receives, unpacks, inspects and tallies incoming stock items from customers and/or vendors; and records the data.
  • Examines and inspects stock items for wear, defects, and/or damages; and reports damaged items to the Warehouse Manager.
  • Marks stock items, using identification tags, stamps, electric marking tools or other labeling methods.
  • Stocks the shelves in the warehouse, tool room, supply room, and other areas in an orderly and accessible manner.

Processes Outgoing Materials and Monitors Inventory

  • Regularly checks inventory for the availability of necessary parts; and informs the Warehouse Manager of any inventory shortages and missing parts needed to complete pending work orders.
  • Picks inventory for Work Orders and Shipment Orders.
  • Assists with packaging outbound materials (i.e., parts, equipment, etc.).
  • Reviews attached packing documents with shipments to ensure thoroughness and accuracy.
  • Monitors and maintains proper inventory levels of equipment, parts and packing materials.
  • Regularly checks inventory for the availability of necessary parts; and informs Warehouse Lead and Production Manager of any inventory shortages and missing parts needed to complete pending Work Orders.
  • Moves and/or consolidates inventory, utilizing a forklift, cherry picker and/or pallet jack.

Maintains a Safe Working Environment

  • Maintains a clean and organized warehouse area that is free from debris.
  • Wears proper clothing and personal protective equipment, as necessary.
  • Properly operates equipment following all safety and operating guidelines.
  • Adheres to all safety guidelines.

Job Purpose

The Materials Manager schedules and reviews all Production Orders and Sales Orders. This position will schedule all production orders for products, maintain site Production Board, identify material shortages and manage all Buyers. The primary responsibility of this position is to ensure adequate materials levels are available to keep accurate production and shipment schedule of products for internal and external customers.

Schedules all Production Orders

  • Review all Sales Orders for Material Shortages
  • Ensure all Production Orders are entered into Production Schedule
  • Maintain accurate shipment dates for all customer orders
  • Communicates with Production Manager, Production Leads to accurately schedule work on weekly basis
  • Identify shortages and communicates to Production Manager, Buyers and Sales of any possible delays to Production Orders
  • Populate and maintain Production Board

Manages Buyers

  • Manages Buyers and maintains scorecard for Buyers on Daily and Weekly basis
  • Ensure material shortages are prioritized
  • Runs MRP/MPS within ERP system and push all material purchasing to buyers
  • Reports trends in material shortage or vendor performances to Director of Operations and Sourcing Manager
  • Monthly presentation to Executive Team reporting major shortages, impact to delivery schedules and on-time delivery

  • Knowledge and understanding of Manufacturing processes, Planning, Shop Floor Control and Job Costing
  • Proficient with Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • APICS Certification or similar is a plus
  • Production and Processing – Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods

Job Summary

The Application Engineer is the technical champion for internal and external customers. This position works closely with the Sales teams to support customers with their sanitary pumping needs and resolve technical issues. The Application Engineer is responsible for selecting, quoting, troubleshooting, and promoting the organization’s sanitary pumps and fluid management products to both domestic and international sales channels. The primary responsibilities of this position are to support the internal and external Sales team with customer interfacing.

Duties and Responsibilites

Supports Customers’ Technical and Product Needs

  • Resolves customers’ technical issues
  • Assists customers with their technical pump needs
  • Prepares product quotes to assist OEMs, end users and/or distributors
  • Provides technical equipment proposals and quotes for projects and customer inquiries
  • Participates in companywide continuous improvement and similar quality efforts to support the growth of the organization and to meet the needs of customers
  • Provide technical support to customers related to pumps and accessories

Identifies Appropriate Products and Criteria

  • Size and selects the appropriate application products from the product line, including pumps, pump accessories, valves, strainers, sight glasses, bubble traps, oil coolers, pump replacement and spare parts.
  • Interacts with the original equipment manufacturer (OEM), distributor and/or end user to identify key pump selection criteria.
  • Identifies key product applications, product features and new potential applications.
  • Determines major market area of end user or the distributor pump application.
  • Identifies major competitors’ products and their Unibloc equivalents.
  • Performs design selections for various applications and specifications.

Collaborates with the Internal and External Sales Team

  • Provides technical support for the Sales team.
  • Partners with the Sales team to meet customers’ needs.
  • Troubleshoots challenging operational technical and product issues.
  • Assists Sales, Marketing and Engineering to develop and conduct product training programs.
  • Responds to technical and product questions from the Sales team and customers.
  • Performs other responsibilities as assigned.
